Lunch and Learn: Open Science Framework (OSF) 101

Friday, February 23, 2018 at 01:00 PM until 02:00 PMEastern Standard Time

Improve your research workflow! This session provides an introduction to using the Open Science Framework (OSF) - a free, open-source web application built to help researchers manage their workflows. The OSF is part collaboration tool, part version control software, and part data archive. The OSF connects to popular tools researchers already use, like Box, Dropbox, Github, and Mendeley, to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

You don't need to be in the STEM fields to use this tool to organize your dissertation or thesis research. Join Julie Vecchio, Assistant Director Center for Digital Scholarship, to get you up to speed on using the OSF, show helpful tips and tricks, and give you a launching pad for managing your first OSF project.
