Python is a very popular programming language for doing text mining and natural language processing. The Natural Langauge Toolkit (NLTK) is a very popular suite of Python modules making the process of text mining easier.

This workshop is as gentle introduction to Python and the NLTK. It will demonstrate some of the Toolkit's functionality. By the end of the workshop you will have dipped your toe into the waters of Python and been exposed to the inner workings of the NLTK.

Offered by the Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship.
