    Learn how to use chemical and physical properties to find chemical compounds.

    Using Reaxys (primarily) and SciFinder (secondarily), you will learn the following four search strategies:

    • Use a known compound to find an unknown property.
    • Use a known property to find an unknown compound.
    • Use a group name to find specific compounds within that group.
    • Use general info about a reaction to find specifics about a reaction.

    Bring a laptop.
