    The Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence will facilitate this teaching program for postdoctoral scholars at the University of Notre Dame. Topics include reaching every student, backward design & learning goals, transparent & authentic assessments, interactive learning, course structure, and your philosophy of teaching. Participants will submit a draft syllabus and teaching statement for feedback, attend one consultation with Kaneb Center staff, and be expected to attend at least five out of six sessions. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a letter documenting their efforts for their academic job portfolio. Their participation will also be shared with the university-wide Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and their college's Director of Postdoctoral Studies.
